Played some of the IT support team in table-tennis today. Didn't go too well.. Think the face-saving kicked in as they were making it easy for me - was playing my heart out while they were only warming up.

Got taken out by manager for team lunch, we had hotpot. Don't know if I was more embarrassed with questions about my age and marital status, or being asked to recall the thirteen names belonging people sitting on the table. I'd been introduced to some of them several times and still couldn't remember what to call them.
Preparing a tirade about tour groups in hotels for my next posting, after one of them stole my toast this morning.

People here love smiling. In the office they work late and clean their teeth after lunch. There is a security guy who's job it is to stand outside the office all day, a girl who's job it is to clean the toilets every hour, and one who brings coffee and water to your desk. All in work are extremely friendly and welcoming. Food is spicy, breakfast normally gets my nose running, dinner once brought tears to my eyes. Local beer - 'Singha' - is superb.

I'm in Thailand. It's hot but pretty murky. Office just opposite from hotel. People in office very friendly. Will write about trip this evening.
